Is it possible to enter the wrecked ship backwards without High Jump or Speed Booster? I'm getting stuck in the long hallway in Maridia with all the sand and the columns of stuff that push you downwards, only one room away from the long pipe thing that takes you up. I am trying to do this because I don't want to bomb jump over the moat in a low% game  :(

Without even Hi-Jump?  I doubt it.  There's a detailed description of the reverse Wrecked Ship entry in Brickroad's Glitch FAQ over at GameFAQs, and he lists HJ as a requirement.

I just looked at Brickroad's walkthrough, and I guess what I don't understand is why you have to go such a roundabout way. When you reach the first big room in Maridia (with the super jump to the super missile), you can go right and through the green gate and straight to the big tube. I have entered the wrecked ship backwards before with just such a method, no problem at all.  Question
