I have a problem with vista, whenever I try playing any roms (super metroid) on a snes emu (snes9x.143 improvement 9), it always just turns out extremely laggy. Is there anyway to prevent this from occuring?

Also just buy it on VC if it's not about hacks.

You could try the latest versions of each emulator: ZSNES 1.51, snes9x 1.51, or snes9x 1.43 improvement 15.  I'm usually running Vista, and have no problems with any of those three.

I had some issues with the regular Snes9x 1.51, so I use 1.51 improvement 2.
