i guess this topic can be started now.

here's my completion time after the first playthough:

8:34 72%

i accidentally triggered the final ending when collecting the items and exploring. i'll be getting 100% soon.

btw, beating the game unlocks theater mode and a gallery. the gallery is like the ones in the prime games and theater mode lets you watch all the cutscenes per chapter or as a whole and the playable parts control automatically.

when you beat the game with 100%, hard mode gets unlocked. i'll play that later.

ALL CUTSCENES ARE SKIPPABLE ONCE YOU HAVE BEATEN THE GAME!!!

it doesn't even matter which save slot you use. speeedrunning won't be so tedious and that makes the game better than Fusion in one aspect at the very least. press - to skip them.

there wasn't a special ending for 100% so i doubt low% has something. it doesn't hurt to try though.
the game has 2 end points. first, when the credits roll and then when you trigger the escape sequence. they're the same in any% and 100% from what i saw.

Ah, so the cutscenes are just like in the Primes. Well, the Gamecube versions. Just curious, what kind of Hard Mode is it? Is it the Hard Mode in the GBA games, or the Hard Mode in the Prime games?

That's a relief, I hope the game plays as well as people are saying, that might make the horrible initial slog worth it.

I've played almost through sector 1, I'm considering restarting for low% (without glitches or sb's because I doubt we will find any) because I keep skipping upgrades now anyway since the game is so damn easy (imo).

I was told there are no missile expansions / E-Tanks in hard mode. So basically, forced low%. Can anyone here confirm this?

i took a look around in a hard mode file and there's no expansions around. seems like that was right after all so hard mode is forced low%.

edit: cutscene time counts towards the total time even if you skip them. i did the training and reached the first save station and it took 18 minutes lol. low times will be high.

Only a forced low until we make it even lower.

And do you mean you skipped the cutscene and it still added the entire cutscene time to your total?
