my wireless doesn't work for whatever reason, so in order for me to participate I'd have to go to my friend's house (Grouwel). I won't know if I'd be able to go to his house until I talk to him. I haven't actually been able to play pokemon for the past two weeks so I don't have any pokemon above 50 yet, so if that means I wont be able to participate then you should probably remove me from the list.

It almost sounds like we should delay a little longer, seeing as we've barely gotten any replies from anyone who was interested in this for quite some time. I have no idea if any of them are in a position to compete at this point, even if the two of us basically are. Other than running the last two members of my team though some training to max out their EVs, which shouldn't take me very long based on how fast I was able to do that for the other four today, I'm set as well.

since i have like no time to breed a poke properly, i plan to use my pokes with bad EVs though the game and rely on pure strategy.

Yeah, I think most of us are using in-game teams for this, but with mine they still had some room to work with so I decided to do as much training as I could to fill them up entirely. So my starter for instance is pure random in-game stats other than a few EVs worth of focused training before he maxed out, where as guys I got farther into the story have a better shot at putting some of the EVs into their proper places. None of them will be totally ideal though, which is what counts.
