Oh, I had no clue you could do that with locked doors. I'm completely new to sw's outside of hunters, and this is the first console metroid game i've done em with. I'm surprised I was even able to do sw1 to begin with.

I've been SW hunting, and I think there's a way to get into a SW in Generator Hall North. You need the screw attack...I think. Could anyone try?

Might as well throw this in here... someone PLEASE find a SW on Norion. I really want to see what happens when you revisit the elevator room/the room where Dark Samus attacks you. I'm wondering if the cutscenes will trigger again and completely flickerbat up the plot, or if you'll be able to explore those rooms.

Thy wish is my command...

Actually no, but I've trying to find a SW in Norion anyway, so now I realize what we could do, I'm doubling efforts.

I did some mucking around in the PED suit room but didn't find anything ground breaking but the following little tidbits

you can stand on the rail at the bipod thing and not slide off, but if you morphball you slide off.

same with the top of the bipod

you can get on top of the windowed rooms on the left side, but once on top an invisible cieling only lets you jump about a springballs height, but the other side of the room seems to have a higher invisible cieling and a bsj should get on top of the one on the right side

tried getting behind the bipod, seems impossible though, invisible walls and all that

We also need to try to find one in the early part of Olympus so we can skip the bob e tank (although, would you be screwed over once you attempt to use hypermode?). However, this would be pretty hard since the entire thing is basically indoors.

In my seach for a Norion SW, I found a lead.  However, I fear it is a dead lead.  In Cargo Hub, face the door to Maintenance Station.  There is a black pillar to the right.  A SBSJ followed by a SA cancel can land you ontop of the pillar.  It's a slippery surface like everything else.  If you morph before you fall off, you can stay on the pillar.  From here, I have been able to get a bomb instant unmorph, but I can't jump afterwards.  My question is, has anyone been able to do a full BSJ off of a slippery surface or is it impossible to get the jump?

I too have a theory about a SW.  I'll try to get a demo showcasing it soon.

Not sure, but I think you're just only allowed two jumps in biped form, then you need to touch ground again (not a slippery surface) to be able to jump again.

Damn, there are so many places in bryyo use use Damage boost Ghetto jumps.  I think we could even get into a secret world..... maybe.  I'm trying to use a boost to get on top of one of the tree branches.  the iceicles are walkable slopes, and an enemy boost may do the trick.

How do you do the damage boost? I am having probablams with it.

well its easy but slightly unpredictable  but find a pirate or any enemy really, but pirates seem to be more successful.  Now slowly walk into it.  Preferable on a powerful attack.  but it also works when they are just standing idle.  now, on contact with them samus will get flung back, sometimes with lots of force.  sometimes not so much.  but get it right and jump just after you get hit.

it is really noticeable when you are standing on a slope.  see my Bryyo gel refinery early missile tank trick on youtube for a better example.

.Secret World 6: Temple of Bryyo

Finally discovered a SW, it's on the temple of Bryyo, but after you bomb, or after they build the tower like (when you come back the 2nd time), what you do is get on one of those crate like things near the tower (I don't know if the tower has to be destroyed or not) then space jump to one of the collum like things near the tower also, and BSJ using the tower to get an instant unmorph to skywalk, Paraxade will you please make a video if you understand, I'm unable to do one, thanks.

Edit: I have reproduced this many times now, and It's confirmed it works, remeber I find it eisier with a bomb space jump rather than a springball space jump.

Edit 2: If noone undertsnads I could post pictures of what collums and crates I'm talking about, they're both standable ledges so no problem, and they're both near the tower and besides each other. But if Paraxade can make a video, that would be better.

Edit 3: pics step by step:

Easy, jump on top of that crate.

now space jump to that pillar/collum

Bomb space jump in the collum/pillar using the tower to get an instant unmorph (yet to find if it has to be destroyed or not)

ZOMG You're into the SW and skywalking.

FUCKING SWEET. I just killed Rundas on my file, so I'm very close to that point.

I'm going to test out early Screw Attack as well. Awesome find, great job!

el padrino.  Great find.  I have a vid processing for youtube right now.  It doesn't show how I got to the Secret World though.  I didn't start recording until after I got there.

EDIT: Here it is.

Paraxade, how are you so good at SWing? How do you know where the loading points and everything are? How do you do ather jumping?

If anything good comes out of my SW, I'm gonna orgasm, speciallly in this "impossible to sequance break" game, anyway I also though about early SA, wich would be great, cause it's my favorite item in metroid, butI suck at wallcrawling, specially in this game were you can only bomb jump once until you land on a "legiitim(spelling?)" floor, so I'll leave that to Paraxade or anyone else who thinks he's good enough to wallcrawl.

Good news/bad news time.

Good news: Wallcrawling Bryyo is possible.

Bad news: It's a huge pain so far.

I got to the door to Temple Access and got the game to decide I was in Temple Access, but then it took me several minutes to figure out how to get the door to close. After that I fell to the bottom of Temple of Bryyo (as it was still secretized).

I'll keep trying, though. Early SA would be pointless because of the plasma door in the way, but just to be able to say it's possible would be awesome.

AWESOME FIND.... but its not going to get us early Screw Attack.  If I recall correctly, we need to melt ice on the way there. and we don't have boost ball to get through the blockade walls on the way back...

Retro is Cheap as hell too.  why put a plasma door right after a plasma only ice barricade?  or put a Ice missile door on top of an impossible to space jump to super high door? (speaking of the gel refinery shortcut

That's something I'm curious about. I'm wondering if the game actually checks for Plasma Beam when you shoot the ice or if the power beam can break it.

Probably not, but it's worth checking nonetheless.

Wallcrawling Bryyo is a really huge pain, I find it less risky to just shoot the door, wait until the room is loaded (this is all while skywalking) and then just fall besides the door, the room will load and dump the last room (in this case Temple Bryyo) but I have to wait until I float all over the top to continue, so It's long, but less risky to get stuck.

Since this is the 1st Secret World I've ever gotten to or tried to get to, I have a couple of questions...

1.  In Secret Worlds, do you always fall further down when going into morph ball mode and no other time?  That is what is happening in SW6.

2.  Can you ever fall far enough in a Secret World to where it repawns Samus back to where you would be normally?  I know in Twilight Princess that getting OoB would result in a falling death and you would respawn back where you where supposed to be.  Doesn't seem to be the case in MP3.

Anyway, here is some SW6 glitch weirdness.  Can do this in all Secret Worlds with morph ball?

I found something very similar to Paraxade's Olympus SW attempt, were you can actually see the SW, and get through stuff, but there are invisible walls and cieling, it's on the Shouth and north Jungle halls in Bryyo, after destroying the first turret, just do a BSJ. SBSJ or 2BSJ from were you think you'll get it and screw atack into the top platform, I know I'm not good at explaining stuff, but meh, from there it's just like of you were n a SW, just that Retro wasn't so dumb after all, It incased the rooms in an invisible cieling and walls, it's really wierd, but surly useless, maybe someone wants to check it out...
