Why am I so amazing?
I get the feeling that if you were around 5 years ago you would have solved that conundrum Houston and I were having with doing Metroid Prime in Maru Mari.

That's pretty cool. Looks like a really ruined Chozo Ruins.

To me, it's always been the exact opposite in comparison to the Metroid Prime series. While the charge beam effects looked good, you have to think to yourself, what would a ball of energy that powerful look like in real life, factoring in glare and the glow of the sun? The next update will show the light cast from her suit in total darkness.

Because if the Metroid series is about one thing, it's definately realism!

metroid itself isn't, but he's trying to show us metroid in the half-life world, which is definitely pretty realistic in terms of graphics and feel. so the bright charge shot makes a lot of sense.

Heh. We should see her in the Nostromo or on LV-426 (I don't know if it should be in the colony residence or reactor, or in the Space Jockey). Alien for the win.

Looking over the charge beam screenshots again, how would you be able to see anything?

Seeing this thread once again, I wonder what it would be like for Gordon Freeman to go through the adventures of Metroid Prime... especially seeing him using the Gravity Gun against Thardus. And using the Pulse Rifle Disruptor (I made that name up, makes a lot of sense) against a Metroid to blast it to hell.

But then again, with both a health and suit meter... and 14 Energy Tanks... maybe, 7 Health Expansions and 7 Suit Battery Expansions for Gordon's HEV Suit?

And I wonder what it would be like if Samus got in an HEV Suit... wait, I think I've said too much.

first we need to know what is samus' nerd level, if it fill the requirements of the "Azure HEV suit of the whale" then she would have a fine piece of equipment there...

PS: been, playing too much Diablo2, gonna fight back this with lots of Monster Hunter tri...

i like the pictures, remember me of that zero suit mod for HL² EP2, with less fucked up boob physics...

And just add aviator sunglasses or half-moon spectacles to her with a really good arsenal (maybe as her two sidearms, the Stun Pistol along the one that she had in that one Fusion picture [On ZM's Fusion Gallery, hit left three times and you'll see it]. Or one of them can be the NES Zapper.) plus... wait, damn it! Oh... just be sure to put the lightning logo in place of the lambda symbol.

And seeing a Dark Gordon... wait, that's not going to happen. Ever.

And why I bumped.... post celebrates me finally beating Half-Life 2.
