Hello, I'm currently playing Prime 2 Trilogy edition on hypermode and wish to try a darksuitless run. Meaning, from a sequence break, I miss the dark suit altogether; however, this task has proven more difficult than ever imagened. I know a technique called ghetto jumping is how I go about doing the sequence break, but I simply don't know how to do it. All the guides and videos I've seen on google and youtube are about the gamecube version. There is next to nothing on the trilogy version, making this process very hard to get by. Also, I have read forums stating this glitch is still possible with the rerelease so I'm certian I just need some good help to get me by the area.

For the people asking, the area where one must ghetto jump to get to the second temple, before beating the first temple, is called abandoned base. Here the player must ghetto jump up to a light portal while enduring the poisonous gas which very quickly kills samus.

Tks, please explain to me the process I need to know order to get past this room:)

The ghetto jump is preformed the exact same way in the Trilogy version, afaik there is no difference in how difficult the trick is.

I like turtles.
Ghetto Jumps are actually a bit harder to pull of in Trilogy, though, aren't they?  I mean, sure, the method is the same, but didn't they nerf its effectiveness?

Eh true but in Prime 2 I don't think there's any huge difference.

They have the same effectiveness if you lock onto something like an enemy or scan point when you go to jump.
