eeeeyyaaghhh!
When I joined the forum, I too got that feeling of "Gee, it's too bad all the cool people have gone."  But I caught a few glimpses of the greatness that was Sess, Ekarderif, and the rest, and even though I barely knew about them, I knew why everyone wanted them back.  This helped me stay here and not feel as alienated as some other people are.  So for the people that still feel this way: Take a look through the forum and the site's past, and look at all the things you missed.  It might help you understand the way some of the original forum members feel.

IDK who exactly had the idea first. People probably had thought of it before I did, but I do know that I made the topic that led to the hacks forum being created. It wasn't my suggestion alone that did it; I just made the topic.

After reading this topic, i don't understand something. I've poked through the forum's a bit and though i haven't seen enough to make a conclusion, i know enough to know that I've never seen a line if you will separating the Intelligent from the gamefaq's users. If i would look at the mods and the regular users i would say that we're the same really. Sure the staff doesn't make jokes like everyone would like to understand or not have to think to hard about as often as the regular users would like to see. But it's a result of being professional. You can't run a site joking all the time, you have to be serious but not too strict. I believe its a perfect balance with the staff here, superb job guys though my thanks isn't needed. I see plenty of humor here so i have no complaints, I'm contributing to posts and getting feedback. That's my input, sorry if i interrupted your conversation ING-X.

Last bit of input, to those users who complain about the forum's not being active. Ask your self this. "What am i doing about it?"
