You must have window blinds and something to open RAR files like WinRAR or 7 Zip.

First download this: http://www.angelfire.com/vamp/bowser/themeManager.zip (1.3 megs))
It  overwrites all your other window blinds skins though, and you'll need to system restore to take it off and return to window blinds skin.

Here's the theme: http://www.angelfire.com/vamp/bowser/MetroidPrime.sdtheme (1.44 megs)
It has a wall paper, windows theme, icons, and sounds.

Go to programs > nintendo > desktop manager and pick metriod prime, then apply. Then restart.

You silly WinXP users. REAL men use Win98. Rolling Eyes

Nah, I'm the one with the sucky operating system. I'll probably get a new computer with WinXP on it soon though...

They certainly gave it to European VIPs, so I'd guess yes. I have it myself, but I don't like it so I don't use it.

What's the point of flashy desktop themes anyway.  I just want my computer to do the things I tell it to, not look pretty.  That's what I'm for.  </faux conceit>  :P  I find that stuff just gets in the way of what I'm trying to do.  But whatever floats your cloud :)

yeah, i agree with that mostly, but some of my best friends are into theming, and they're seriously good at it, so i'm not going to say themes are useless or anything.

That's the exact reason why I don't like it. I feel the flashy borders around the window distract me from looking at what I want to look at. But hey, if someone else likes it that's up to them.

I want to delets the icons... how do I do this?  I deleted the theme, but only to find out that the icons are still there (I'm talking about how you change like the My Pictures and stuff.)

Ready and willing.
Yeah, my windows settings are pretty basic. I just use different desktop icons and I also use sounds. I just sort of grabbed a bunch of SMW sounds and put them in the right spots, heh.

Google 'tweak UI" Download and isntall that, then on the bottom, there is a repair. Click rebuild icons, restore my music, videos, etc.

You should check the rest of tweak UI out too, it can remove those little arrows on shortcut icons and stuff.

TweakUI is a program every Windows user should have.  Especially if you don't like mudding around in the Registry and other places for such small things.  :D

Macs have their disadvantages, but with Windows it's always you versus the computer.  Ring, mats, folding chairs, Eric Bischoff, the whole bit.  With a Mac, it's like "yes , I know I can't run anything, but we'll work through this together" :D
