I was curious what would happen if you get the bombs before morphball. Like when you go to pick up the bombs, your automatically put into morph ball mode with the morph ball bombs. Wouldn't it continue the game like normal but without being able to get OUT of morph ball? Since it already has the animations for the ball, but it won't allow you to take form until you get the Morph Ball. I was only curious to see what would happen, as I'm already trying to do this myself by using the secret worlds, LOL.

iirc you can get bombs but they don't give you the ball, ie you can't remorph after unmorphing.

AFAIK it's never been done. Flamancipator and others tried in 2004 but they were never able to get Burn Dome to load. A lot has been discovered since then in terms of maneuvering about in SWs but I don't think any of it would help.

Now that I think about it I've never heard of it being done either. I too have heard many people claim to know what happens when it's done, but never HOW they know. AFAIK, nobody ever got the burn dome to load. They theorize that those little morphball "doors" actually check to make sure you have morphball before loading the next room.

I do think I heard about someone testing with AR though...

Before anything, someone should confirm what happens when you collect boost without morphball (using AR, it shouldn't be very difficult) to see if there is even any point in trying to get Burn Dome to load.

Both default you to morphball position, so if boost lets you keep morphball, there's a pretty good chance that bombs will.

I'm almost positive it's never been done. Everyone who has ever attempted it has run into the same problem with Burn Dome.

Yep, the consensus is that there is some sort of "check" to see if you have the morphball.

Also, from your video it looks like you are trying to load the room from the door (like every other room). But I think the actual loading trigger has something to do with that little morphball "door". You usually have to be standing on the tunnel then morph and unmorph to load the next room (hence the problem with getting the burn dome to load).

It seems like this challenge pops up about twice a year every year. I'm glad people are still plugging away at it, but there really should be some official documentation somewhere outlining this tricks history, just so people know what they're up against.

Yes, but if I´m stand above it and then jump like wether it were a normal door...is it possible that the next door open?
