Time bomb set get out fast!
So I bought one of these things off Kijiji.
I had the component switcher already, and this screen is designed to fit on top of it, so I've wanted one for a while. Even knowing it's an '04 model and there are much better ones available. Yes, I know that's stupid. Let me finish. Why won't you let me finish?
Anyway, I finally got it and it has a major problem. Once I've got a game going, every half-minute or so the screen will simply turn itself off for about 5 seconds, as if to "cool down". The sound still works fine, so I can hear my character getting the stuffing beat out of him.
Has anyone heard of a problem like this? I've failed to turn up anything, whether specific to this screen or common to LCD screens. I can't check the manual because my seller didn't have one. He also claimed "a1 condition". I doubt this problem is consistent with that claim, but I want to be sure.
