Cute does not fully describe this game, it goes beyond that to nearly diabetes inducing levels. It may need to come with a warning for those already afflicted.

Apparently There's no sucking for Kirby this time around, he has instead gained the power to just straight up transform into shit. Up to and including a large Kirby Tank.

Also of note is that the graphical style is the best style and anyone who disagrees is a dumb face whose face is also stupid. And probably ugly. Their soul is definitely ugly though.

Not ugly is this game, surprising for a Wii title, but it's already looking to have some of the best visuals of this generation and undoubtedly the best looking game on the Wii. Proving that art direction trumps raw graphical power every time.

It's also got what seems like Kirby Super Star/Dreamland 3 style Co-op if you like that sort of thing.

The world needs this game, October 17th cannot get here fast enough.

This thread is entirely a preventative measure for myself. It'll keep my omg this game's gonna owwwnnnn posts out of other threads for a while.

It could also be my attempt to give the entire forum diabetes. I can't rule this possibility out.

I doubt I'll bring myself to try this game, maybe if one of my friends get it I'll try it when I'm at their house. The graphics look nice and remind me of Yoshi's story, but the gameplay looks pretty boring :/

I definitely agree on the gameplay. The game looks incredibly slow and it almost feels like Kirby can't possibly die there.

But screw that, I'd replay that game to death just for its presentation preesentation.

I've heard things that suggest that he cannot, in fact, die. Death apparently results in just losing a bunch of the sparklies you collected over the course of the level. There's apparently a ranking system for each level which is where the challenge is supposed to be. The game just looks chill as hell to me, so I'm down.

yeah looks totally great. my only complaints are kirby's annoying baby voice and that it looks a little slow. beyond that, can't wait.

also who cares if it's easy? kirby games have always been easy. and even if they hadn't, there's nothing wrong with easy games. if it's fun and pretty then i'm good.

I really honestly think this game was directed more towards children 7-10 than anything else. The really basic gameplay (from what we've seen), the graphics, the music and noises, everything. I'm not trying to be like OHH IM SO HXC I ONLY PLAY GAMES WITH BLOOD AND OR FOOTBALLS but I think this is just a bad direction for a kirby game. This is totally my own taste, everyone else has a different taste, but at least the older kirby games seemed to have some sort of challenge.

My 6 year old sister watched me watch the trailer, and at least SHE is excited for this game.

You are the reason they have to give Kirby angry eyes in every image released in the U.S. You.
All Kirby games on systems that aren't lame are bright and happy and colorful and that is why they own. Dreamland 1 still managed the happy part.

Kirby games are the best casual games.

I don't use casual as a negative thing or a qualifier because I am not retarded. They're just very simple games that you can pick and play for a while and just chill out. It's great. More games should be that good.

I loved the kirby handhelds, those actually seemed like decent/hard platforming games (this was back in elementary school, don't make fun of me). If you take the squidboss in this game for example, it looks really really easy. Slap the tentacles away with your whip, there. Also, why does Kirby have a whip now? One of the whole points of being Kirby was to transform into things so you could actually ATTACK other things. Now it just looks like transforming is going to be used for some little puzzles and stuff.

Anyhow, my little sister is getting it so I'll try it out, or I'll just shut up about it until I see more gameplay videos.

As for Bulletstrom, I'm very interested to see if they can keep that whole "OH MAN IT'S SO OVER THE TOP AND CARAAAAAZAY!!" thing going for an entire game without just being annoying. Because it's a very thin line between absurd fun and annoying as shit.
