I just beat Mother Brain and I saved in the save station right before her, and now I'm stuck in Tourian. is there any way to get past the locked door in Toyrian?

Oh I understand what you are saying. I also saved right before mother brain, then when I beat the game I went, and loaded the game so I could go fight enemies for fun but the door leading out of Tourian was locked. Sadly I don't think there is a way to get out of tourian (Unless you wan't to beat MB again and have about 5 seconds to enjoy the landing spot.) so I just created a new file instead, but I could be wrong.

i think i know what you mean. you cant get past the tubes with pink stuff in them?just shoot them with missles miltiple times

No I don't think he is meaning that -_-, he says he can't get out of Tourian. He also said he had already defeated Mother Brain and you can't kill MB without first destroying the Zeebetites.

Too bad, i'm afraid it's too late to go back. That's why I always save at the first save point so then I can fight the Metroids AND go back to Crateria.

Wish I'd known that the first time I played. :P I ended up in Tourian more or less by accident, when I wasn't nearly done exploring (I prefer to get as close to 100% as possible the first time through) and was really careful to not to save at the first save point, only to absentmindedly save at the second one. And I felt way underpowered against MB so I started again on another save file, only to lose both saves shortly afterward. Sigh.

i haven't tryed this but you might be able to get outside of the room by freezing a metroid in just the right sopt, then crystal flashing on top of the metroid. at that point it would just be a matter of finding your way back into the normal game.

That would be nice, except that after the second Tourian save, there are no more Metroids to fight. Would your trick work with a Rinka?

Embarrasing Fact: Power suit made by lowest bidder

Rinkas will be killed by a single power bomb, so you can't crystal flash on top of them.

You can do something along those lines. Unfortunately, that won't do any good in the room I show it in: There's a ton of junk above the room and you'll just get stuck.
You can do similar stuff and top it off with a crystal flash in Mother Brain's room, though, and manage to get outside of the map. What's above the room is random, though, depending on what rooms you were in previously. I've been trying to work that stuff out lately.
The outsides of the Rinka room won't change, though: There's *no* getting past that. So you'll have to go forward, past Mother Brain. As far as I know, it could be possible, but I don't know how to pull it off yet.
On a side note: You can use the Metroids as stools to crystal flash off of, and go into the area above. With enough crystal flashes, and a Rinka spawning nearby, you should even be able to get past the roof. It would probably only work in the two wide rooms, however, and I doubt you'd be able to do much interesting from there.
