im trying to do the mockball to get the early super missile, but i cant do it like the video shows, when i enter the room running i just fall down, and i cant jump inmediately after entering...

i can do mockball on any other place but there, any tips?

You have to jump in the previous room.  There's no ledge in the mockball room, so what would you expect to jump off of?

Practice it some other place.  Having to hold the jump button when it's done...  You can release jump, then press it again at any point in the hang time of your jump.  Another way is to find a place with a low ceiling.  After you hit the ceiling Samus will be falling, but with the jump button still held you can (should) still do it.

You might want to utilize this forum's search function.  You're not the 1st to ask this question, and you won't be the last.  Wink  There are a lot of usefull tips in those topics as well.  It's just that after a while...  If someone didn't copy a stock answer to a notepad to paste into this type of topic everytime one popped up, it would be frustrating to type it out all over again each time.

I'm not saying we don't care.  It's just a 'teach a man to fish' kind of thing.  grin new
