it recently came to my attention that i accidentally turned on the "hide my online status" option for everyone when i converted the forum to taiga forum last year.
normally this wouldn't be a problem except it seems like people don't even realize it's turned on. so if you don't mind other people seeing your name in the userlist at the right side of the screen then click on profile and uncheck this box:
then you should show up to where other people can see you. the reason i don't just turn it off for everyone is there may be some people who actually want it turned on and that would be a little awkward like suddenly pantsing someone in public.
