So everyone has his challenge :)
Yeah, my challenge is trying to figure out what you two just said.
I have not used an online translator for this, except to translate individual words.
Nate's was easy, I only had to look up one word: haupt. He said "Thanks, I major in German. I must always speak and write it correctly."
Yours, on the other hand, was not so easy. Something about German being hard to learn? You think it would be hard to learn? The next bit really confuses me. I have no idea what Artikel or Pronomen mean, but whatever they are, you're saying they are already confusing. Then, something about upper and lower case, and silent? I'm guessing you're saying something about the difference between when words should have capital letters in English, and when they should have in German. You're using that as an example of how German could be hard for an English speaker to learn? The word Artikel bugs be, though, because I know it means article, and I know I should know what that means, but I don't. Except, it has something to do with language. I'm going to really go out on a limb here, and go for a translation instead of guessing it bit-by-bit. Please don't laugh too hard if I screw it up badly. "I guess German would be hard to learn. The difference in when you're supposed to use capital letters always confuses me. I have to pay attention to get it right."
