my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
i was watching a SM speed run the other day and when they got to that monster called Draygon and killed him, his "death cry" sounded exactly the same as the death cry from a boss called Twinmold in Zelda: Majora's Mask.

when i heard it i was like: "i've heard that noise before" and quickly i remembered where i heard it.

(btw, sorry if this is old. i'm new to the forums)

I don't think he piccilo cubed did, but I think I know what he's talking about . . .. draygon's death sound does sound similar/alike to twinmold's damage sound. . . .. IIRC

"Stole" is hardly the right word....

Time bomb set get out fast!
Hmm.  If this is true, then maybe "Prime 2: An Echoes to the Past" was a revenge thing....

Especially considering that both games are property of Nintendo. I don't think it would matter too much in that regard as far as stealing is concerned.

But still, using sound effects from the SNES on the N64 is kinda cheap if you ask me, especially for a title like Majora's Mask.

Metroid II has many sound effects that are shared with Super Mario Land III: Wario Land, for the same system.  *shrug*

Obviously it was the other way around.

According to GameFAQs, Majora's Mask was released some 6 years after Super Metroid.  So the designers of Super Metroid had some sort of future vision?

Ready and willing.
Actually, Ark, I think Super thought RT was generalizing Saber's statement (and therefore implying that the two games were NES games), rather than making a new complementary statement.
