After killing the boost guardian on hard mode, i went back to the light world to save.

I climbed forgotten bridge, and went into the caged area. I went the way to the arena room (the room that you would fight boosty in if you were in the dark world).

I went into the transport tunnel, grabbed the missile expansion, and continued on.

as i left the tunnel, i somehow got an instant unmorph without pressing the X button. I tried to go back into the tunnel by morphing, but when i morphed while inside the transport tunnel, it just gave me a view of the wall. When i tried to roll into the tunnel by pressing up, it would give me a view as if i was heading back the way i came from, and i'd end up back at the start of the tunnel. So, i decided to investigate. :|

I went into the next room and battled the pirates until they left.

As i was down at the bottom of the half pipe, i morphed in order to boost myself back up to the top.

it then showed a view as if i was looking at the room while in a secret world, from the back of the room, about 40 feet out, and a bit down. Im like "wtf?"

so i had a nice hard time boosting back up to the top (it wouldnt show me samus).

I unmorphed and got back on the ledge and exited the room.

Reloading the transport tunnel didnt help anything. the glitch was still in place. So, i morphed and went into the tunnel, and when it gave me the morph ball view, i simply pushed down on the control stick.

I got back into the transport tunnel morph ball area, and when i left the tunnel, i got ANOTHER instant unmorph. It was all good after that though.

but that was really strange and annoying. :|

i was in temple assembly site (i seem to be in there a lot lately) and shooting the splinters, when i found one which was inside a big box, one that you couldn't destroy. the one with the red box on top. it was trying to attack me, and i just sat there at stared at it, moving around to get different views. it couldn't hurt me, even when i was up against the box. i could shoot it if i shot at it's feet, but no higher. i recorded it on an echoes glitch mix tape, but i hadn't planned on getting it captured. if i find more, i may send it to Nate if he wants to capture it for me, but i'm not expecting anything. i've only got 2 on there so far, and the other is just getting to the portal in the seeker room.

Here's one that doesn't come into play normally, but if you're using the AR and moon jump, DON'T skip the spider guardian and then come back for the sky temple key later... here's why:

I skipped the Spider Guardian, figuring I didn't need spider ball since I had moon jump. I knew I'd HAVE to come back at some point to get the key, but I figured I could wait. big mistake.

I already had the light suit, and returned to go after the sanctuary sky temple keys. When i tried entering the spider guardian's room normally, the entrance to the tunnel was sealed, and there was no sign of the SG...

What to do? Well, I remembered the tube that you normally drop out of after exiting the SG battle and since I had moon jump, figured I'd head in that way. It took a bit to get into the tunnel because of boost ball conflicting with the moon jump, but I got it eventually. So I went through and there was still nos ign of the SG, so i continued and went through the portal and got the key.

However, upon returning to the light world, I found the tunnel back into SG's area was now blocked off by one of those electrical barriers you're supposed to ram him into, effectively trapping me forever... and forcing me to start over.

Not really useful in terms of normal gameplay, but something people using AR should keep in mind. ;)

How did you get the AR codes for Echoes?

Did you type them your self or did you get the update disc?

I typed them in myself... I didn't put in ALL of the codes, just ones like infinite dark/light beam ammo, moon jump and such.

i'm assuming you mean box, and if so the answer is no. it's one you can't open, it's as big as the one you drop to cross the room. i could just see it there trying to get out and attack.

did you try going back to the dark world, then the light world to check if the barrier was still there?

there's a myth floating around that Blogg's are aquatic creatures, and aquatic creatures only. i'm here to disprove that myth. Bloggs can also fly around in the air! hehehe

if you grab the early pb using the temple assembly site sw, then in Gathering Hall, if you pb the half pipe covering, then the stopper thingie on the bottom, you can drain the place early. i did that. i went and killed grapple guardian and left the room, also using pb's, without grapple. i wanted to see if it would dissapear. it does. i ended up going back to the light world, and back to hydrodynamo station, and couldn't figure out how to get back up without grav. boost, considering i'd skipped it using pb's to get the key. so, i turned and went to Gathering Hall, with no real plan in mind. much to my surprise, i saw a Blogg swimming around, though the water was drained. i recorded it on vhs, in case i were to send it in. i have a few glitches on there.

another thing i noticed the second time i fought boosty, after reseting, was that after i set a pb in front of his ugly face, he didn't die. it took of maybe an eighth of his energy, and he immedietly went into boost mode. once he got out i used my second one and he ended up in puddle form before taking damage. he didn't die, but he shattered and suddenly appeared in solid form. as soon as he did that, i shot him in the face. it was then i noticed that when you pick up the boost ball w/o dark suit and watch the scene that ensues, samus has the dark suit while morphed. the boosty thing wasn't captured, however.

and with that, my rambling is done

I was in Torvus when the twin dark commandos teleported in. I slapped on my dark visor and targeted the one towards me. He looked at me and... waved hi. I know it's just another animations, but the fact that he was looking at me when doing that just was hilarious.

After getting the grav booster, I tried to jump on top of the Alpha Blogg to use him as a platform to get out of the room, as I can't bsj for the life of me.

He glitched, and just hovered in the water, not doing anything. His mouth wasn't open, so I could only stun him, not hurt him, and stunning did nothing.

Luckily I didn't care about the time of this game, so I spent the next half an hour learning how to bsj.

there i was. staring down emperor ing, mutated style. i screw attacked towards him, and stopped myself, knowing that i couldn't hit him. his mouth was closed. i backed up a bit and tried again. at this point, his health was half gone. as i tried again, he jumped away, way before i got to him. when i 'unmorphed', his health was over 3/4ths gone. i didn't hit him with either screw attack, so i think Emperor Ing, whom i've dubbed "MEIF3", had a bad habit of self mutilation

well, if it has anything to do with the screw attack, then it's not really new. i always use the screw attack when fighting MEIF3. unless i get pissed at him for not being hit, then i use the annihalator beam a whole bunch, then back to screw attacking

right after his health did the crazy drop thing, i did one last screw attack. and killed him, obviously. it wasn't until i went back and watched the video that i realized it had happened

This occurred with the AR on, but if by chance you have power bombs when you get to the spider guardian, DON'T use them!!! it disintegrates the bastard and you have to reset.

Was pretty annoying... happened to me on the 3rd screen when I hit the button by accident... boy was I pissed.

it's very possible to get pb's w/o AR, 3 diff expansions unless there's a 4th i haven't heard about. i think the wicked child just meant that it happened with AR, not that it can ONLY happen with AR

yup. I'm aware that it's possible to get early PB expansions anyway, but I happened to be using the AR...
