why? i would probably have preferred a new storyline involving the sands, but a direct sequel to the first game sounds fine to me.

actually, the best thing would just be a whole new universe with a new prince with new sands of time. the storyline of the trilogy is so convoluted and lame.

I'm mostly worried because I'm not sure I can handle any more Godsmack in my PoP.

I just read through my newest gameinformer, and apparently they didn't like Spirit Tracks. One guy said that it's his least favorite Zelda title to date. It still got an 8.5 and 8.25 though, which seems pretty good to me <.<

Oh, I also finihed MW2's single player. 5 hours and 12 minutes to finish, on the middle difficulty setting -.- Pretty dissapointed tbh. They had way to many plot twists, If I think back I can count at least 6 times where something crazy/drastic/unexpected happens. Not to spoil anything, but in like the last 5 minutes of the game there were 4 times when it's like "You're gonna die... JK... ok NOW you're going to die.... NO WAIT YOU GOT SAVED.... Opps you died... What's that? Oh yeah, you're alive again... No wait, are you dead or alive now? lets just end the game without you knowing if you live or not."

Also, the amount of people that died in this game is like... Really activision? Really? In the first MW game the only time the game does something really unexpected was when the nuke goes off and kills you. Now THAT was cool, and granted the first 3 times stuff like that happened in the new one I was like "WOW that was crazy!" but then at the end I was resenting them because IF I play through it again I'll have to watch all of them again, which kinda defeats the purpose of them being shocking.

Last thing I'm dissapoint in in the weapon array. There are quite a few, and granted they all look pretty awesome, but for the most part they all seem to operate in 1 of 3 ways. It's either an SMG, a shotgun, or a sniper rifle. All the SMGs felt the same, and seemed to perform almost exactly the same. The shotguns weren't useful at all, and I thought it was really weird when I found a really really old style shotgun. The sniper rifles were all the same as well, and I never once needed to steady myself to make the crosshair stop moving, it seemed to be very easy in this one.

Wow I typed up a lot more then I thought I would, I just had a few things to say about it but I guess I had a few more then I thought <.<

Why am I so amazing?
Spirit Tracks isn't exactly in the upper pantheon of Zelda games, but it's a far cry from the worst. Although now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know which one I'd call the *worst* Zelda. Gameplay-wise I guess I would have to go with the first one, but if you factor in the historical importance... I guess it would have to be TP. Huh. Didn't think I disliked it that much.

I haven't totally finished spirit tracks yet, but I have to say it is a good game.  Legend of Zelda is such a long running series with some of the best and most influential titles in gaming history.  It's hard enough not to compare ever video game with some LoZ titles, let alone comparing new LoZ's with older ones.  When you buy one, you know you are getting a good game, even if it's the worst zelda - sort of the 'worst of the best' concept.  I don't think ST is the worst one at all.  I don't really care for the oracles & LA that much.

Ah... the only three I've never played as far as I know.

I've definitely noticed while playing PH that my desire to play it has dropped off drastically the farther I get into the game. It's still fun, but there's not much about the overworld and dungeons that stands out from the other Zelda games, as for the most part they are kinda sub-standard for the series to me. (To the point where I'm starting to feel like the dungeons are really quick and aren't that memorable: NOT what I want when I play Zelda.) Yet while I say that, I can have a blast playing the original, where the dungeons and overworld are at their most basic forms.

That might be why I love the 3D games so much over most of the 2D ones: The 3D dungeons feel like they have more variety and are set apart from one another relatively well to the point where I can remember most of them clearly, and except for a few of them, they are all pretty good in my opinion.

And just as I say that, I came across the Temple of Ice in PH this morning. Easily the best dungeon I've encountered on my second playthrough, hands down. From the puzzles, to the way the Grappling Hook is used, (I was always a fan of it in WW, and they handle its execution in PH well) to the final boss feels a step above the rest of the game. Now that I think about it though, I do have to give credit to PH for the bosses, as practically all of them offer a new twist while offering the right level of challenge, and most importantly they are fun to battle.

Why don't you throw Zelda II and the BS Zeldas in there while you're at it?

Surprised nobody has said this yet, but the worst Zelda game by far is the CD-i game.

Although it is full of comedy gold.
