When I had played just a few months ago I figured the game's camera is actually pretty solid. On ther other hand, I guess its an argument if you're really into manual camera angles.

Forgotten Sands is on Wii, too.

The good seems to be that they're treating it seriously, as an independent game with an independent story from the HD versions, and graphically it looks like they're not taking the cop-out "oh it's just the Wii" approach and actually making it look very nice.

The bad: no rewind powers? Just a "set amount of retries before you're thrust all the way back to the checkpoint." Why even make it a Sands game then?

thing is, there are rewind powers on the 360/ps3 version. i'm wondering why they even bothered giving it the same name when it's apparently a totally different game. and 60 fps ftw ... hopefully it stays that way for release.

Yeah, they should have went with a different subtitle. I'm totally psyched that it's a different game though. At least somebody finally figured out that dumbing down an HD version to work on the Wii is always a disaster.

Well, seeing as I absolutely love the first one, no complaints here if that happens.

Oh, and here's the newest trailer they just put out for it. A lot of crazy things from what I could get, and I'm definitely thrilled with how much Yoshi looks like he'll be awesome this time around. (Compared to both Sunshine and NSMB Wii at least.) The trailer doesn't show it, but I thought I heard somewhere that at least at one point in the game, Bowser's going to be flying the Koopa Copter again.

Awww bullshit. Seriously, ryu, would you be pissed if they just ported the US version to PAL and gave us a week later release? Here in the UK, we have to wait for games to be tranlsated to about six different languages when all we want is the American version.

Yeah, it'd be selfish to say I want them to release all games without translating them. And, to tell the truth, I don't mind the delayed releases that much.

The only reason I'm not happy with not getting a Metroid game on its US release is because I can't talk with you guys about it. :(

With that much difference in the dates, I expect they're re-recording at least some VA, instead of just translating subtitles.

So Valve released an update for Portal yesterday. According to steam, the update is as follows:

Portal is pretty much perfect as it is to me. I dunno what a sequel can do for it. That said, I'd definitely be checking it out, assuming it's not PC only.
