In fairness, while I hate the idea of sucking up to anybody, Blizzard do some top-quality stuff, and rarely disappoint, so I'm happy to wait for a polished product, even if it means late 2011 or later.
These days, Blizzard and Bioware are the two companies I give the most slack to if they choose to delay something, because they always deliver in the end. Valve and Nintendo are probably next on my list compared to the others, but those two are still the top dogs so to speak in this category.
Cataclysm is for SURE coming out this year, and there was a lot of talk about whether or not Starcraft 2 would be released before or after (Blizz also said that SC2 is coming out for sure this year, but even though it might/probably won't, lets just pretend it will). Judging by the looks of things Cataclysm should come out around June, considering the amount of time between Sunwell Plateau and WotLK release, it should be about the same amount of time between killing Arthas and Cataclysm's release.
So with that aside I'm thinking SC2 is going to be a Christmas release. Anyone else have any thoughts about this?
Now I must force myself to not play it until I am completely done with the original. In case you're wondering 'why buy it to not play it?', it's because there was a price war on, and it'll almost certainly go waaay back up in price afterward, where it'll sit for months until sales start to peter out.
is that the one that comes with the vinyl lp? i thought about getting that but then realized i don't need any more shit that takes up room unless it's absolutely necessary. probably just going to go get the standard edition a few days after it's released.
The differences are: (Quoted from www.randomwebsiteIcan'tremember.com)

And in other news... it sounds as if the fifth generation of Pokemon has (practically) been officially announced based on the information I saw on Serebii this morning. They have a silhouette of a new pokemon that makes me think of another evolution to Lucario or something along that line. (Some kind of fox-like creature on two legs)
Not surprised in the slightest though that they announced a new generation though, given that pokemon has been selling as well as ever these days. I suspect most fans aren't either.
Except this was supposedly aired on Pokemon Sunday, which as far as I understand is usually an accurate outlet for such announcements. Either way, it looks like we'll find out more in the next week or two based on what the site suggests.
Would it look weird if 3 juniors went to the HG/SS midnight release? Is gamestop even going to do a midnight release? xD
I looked at a posted at gamestop yesterday and they said HG/SS would be available March 14th. Then again they claim Cataclysm is coming out in August, and Blizzard never confirmed it.
why are you worrying whether it would look weird? unless you think you're going to get arrested or something in which case yeah you wouldn't get your pokeymans as fast that way so it would be an inconvenience.
