I've played a BS Zelda, the one that's supposedly the "third quest" of the original. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but the "squished" overworld was disappointing. Didn't play the other two since one's supposedly just AlttP, just some slight alternates. That, and the other one were awfully buggy too at the time I checked, thanks to a translation patch I guess, so I dunno.
Weird how much I agree with ark on pretty much everything except Sonic Adventure and Mega Man.
that's why i always ask your opinion on games. :)
i actually do like mega man now though ... recently bought the anniversary collection for gamecube (mm 1 - 8). going to be interesting when i get the chance to go through them all (of them i've only played mm6).

I've never been able to enjoy any Mega Man game ever. And not for lack of trying.
Wait, scratch that. In my youth I owned Mega Man II for GB and enjoyed it enough to beat it. I believe that one's universally regarded as the worst MM ever, so I guess that says a lot.
I like mega man. 1-3 were some of my favorite NES games ever. I never really kept up with the series after that. When MM9 came out I was so excited, but quickly found out that I don't have the skill and patience that I did way back then, so I never finished it. I can pop in the early mega man games and get through them just fine, but that's only because I have them memorized.
I've played very little Mega Man in my time, and I don't really have a desire to. I'm not sure if the difficulty would get to me after a while, since I was determined enough to get through Battletoads (Although it took me MANY years to finally do so) but I can't say since I don't have much to compare it to.
The only ones I ever really played to a worthwhile degree were the SNES-based X games. I played a little bit of the Zero games for the GBA, but couldn't get into them as much.
They just put Blaster Master on there supposedly, which will make completing that game MUCH easier for anyone who buys it because of the save state option with VC games. Although, part of the difficulty of that is the limited number of continues, so maybe not.
I can't even enjoy blaster master anymore without save states. The game would have been damn near perfect if they hadn't made it so that losing your gun power didn't leave you completely fucked.
Yeah, that is definitely one of the more annoying things about the game other than the limited continues. I barely ever get enough powerups to fully charge it, and whenever I do I nearly always lose it within a minute or so.
Since there isn't a help topic, and since this is a "general" topic anyways ...
My sister's Wii just died, I think. She was playing it, changing memory cards around, when it suddenly died. Checked, made sure it was plugged in, it was, but the power-light as still off. Unplugged and plugged it back in, it lit up. But as soon as I hit the power button, it died again. Anyone have any idea what might be causing it to do that?

Try unplugging it and leaving it off for a couple minutes, THEN plug it back in... My Wii already died twice like that and I solved that problem with the aforementioned solution.
I don't think it's something wrong with the wall socket, as I'm sure everything connected would shut off as well. Tried unplugging for like 10 minutes too, but that didn't solve anything. My guess would be either bad power supply, as GreenManalishi said, or something with the Wii itself.
Just before Christmas too, right when my sister is about to get a bunch of games!
What ever happened to that thing Nintendo was going to start adding to it's games that made it play itself? Like if you were stuck it would help you out?
