It's great.

I discovered how to dbj. It helps if you hold yourself in a flipper to hold still. Set a bomb. Just before it explodes, set 2 more, one after another. The second should be in the air. For some reason, the last 2 will detonate right away, instead of the huge delay in the first one. Useless, but fun.

Also, it seems you can get up the Force Ball ramp in Impact Crater without taking Prime's leg out. I think you have to take the inside of the ramp.

Okay, I've been trying to play at stores where my bro drags me, but then he drags me away when he's leaving >_<

One of these days, I'll be forced to actually buy a DS -_-

Heh, same here. I've been putting off buying a DS for as long as possible, but I think MPP might make me have to buy one. And I really, really want Canvas Curse.

I hear too many good things about too many DS games...CC, MPP, meteos....

Think they'll port them to the rev? :P

Oh my god I love this game.  >.>

I always told myself I'd buy a DS as soon as the first Metroid game came out.  *shrug*

Whoa, you posted.  Where you been?

Also, I played this for a few minutes at Wal-Mart.  Fun, nicely put together, but not, in my opinion, worth that much of my money.

In short?  Full time college and full time assistant manager position at the mall.  Eats my every free moment, and when I'm not involved in school or work, I'm dead tired.

I always find pinball games disturbingly addicting.  If I end up failing Japanese, blame Samus.

Or you could play the Japanese version of MPP and that way you'd be studying while playing.

in the name of justice!
I played this a bit in the store on Saturday.  I let my brother check it out since he's much better at that sort of stuff.  The Omega Pirate battle looks sweet!

lol@LifeMega.  I bet you can pass Japanese class with the words "Pirate," "Frigate," and "Artifact."

Hm. it was nice, since i collect everything in existance of metroid. posters, games, boble heads (lol ya i have a samus boble head  thingy.),

But i think it was a bit to short and easy. im a slow gamer. and i beat it in 5 hours. but i must say. it had the best 2D graphics i've ever seen.

Why am I so amazing?
Okay, so I gotted this game thanks to Media Play's going out of buisness sale (I wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't 50% off, sorry). I wasn't sure what exactly to expect, but Fuse Games seems to have gotten everything just right. It's not a Metroid game dressed up in pinball clothing, as was, say, Sonic Spinball. Instead, it's a pinball game with a Metroid theme, and that's a damned importiant distinction to make. I kinda wish there were more starting tables for Mission mode, but the Tallon Overworld table rocks my socks right off, and Pirate Frigate is pretty okay too. The dual screen layout and touch screen tilting makes it seem like the DS was designed with pinball in mind, and I'm betting we'll see other developers copy this stuff in the future.

All in all, the only thing missing is an interupt save,  because, damnit, I don't always have time to collect all those artifacts in one sitting!

This game needs more maps like Tallon Overworld and Pirate Frigate. Two just aren't enough!

Other than that, and Triclops, I love this game.

Well, I have had the game for around 2 months, and it was not worth buying. Obviously, I really enjoyed all Metroid stuff included in the game, but it is a little bit too frustrating. F.e. Triclops - I do hate them! Omega Pirate, and his wave of power works in the same way as Triclops - the ball is in the center of the screen, and when hit by his wave or caught by Triclops, morph ball is immediately thrown away. I don't like playing MPP, and even Rumble Pak is not satisfactory. I'm selleing the game - it is a rareness for me to sell my games, so this one is the first as I can't stand being constantly destroyed by Triclops, and Meta Ridley.

While I never actually say to myself, "Hmm, I think I'm aching for some MPP," I play this game all the time. It fits in well for a busy schedule, especially one like a college day, where you have no time to play rpgs or action games, but theres always time to get a couple hundred thousand points. I definitely agree that there should've been more starting tables (Maybe Magmoor would've been a good one, but they wasted that one on multiplayer), and I also hate the triclops, though not as much as my incredible ability to lose one of the phazon multiballs as soon as I get it. I always play without the rumble, attracts less attention.

iirc I played it for the first two days and then haven't picked it up since. It was too frustrating and not really enjoyable. I have much more fun playing pokemon pinball than I do MPP. :o

Edit: Pagebreaks are frustrating as well.
