Ready and willing.
You've got the game? Come here and tell us what you think. Yeah, I'm early. Just laying the groundwork people.

I'm thinking I'm gonna be able to get this game tommorow, depending on when people start stocking it.

Stop sequence breaking the forum, Yosh.  :P

To be on-topic, this game looks like it could potentially rock.  Whether I get it or not well depend entirely on what I see in this thread.

Hurray for following professional opinions! Chances are I'll buy it when it's like $10 or something.

Well, I went and bought it because I wanted something else to play besides Nintendogs and Advance Wars DS, and like my demo impressions, I have to say the game is pretty addicting so far. Woot.

Guys, if you fall into the pit, it triggers an instant unmorph!

Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in pulling off a Roll Jump or BSJ from it. Sparky? Kip? Where are youuuuu?

I thought they were metroid gods, not pinball wizards.

Try TBJing over the edge of the table and into a SW.

So is this game going to have a section?

>_> What? Star Wars?

Heh...I kinda doubt there will be enough sequence breaking or speed tricks, or even boss tricks to put up Pinball's own section. I would like to assume such a game would only need a forum.

Who knows though? We may see a speedrun someday. <_<

Knowing the metroid gods and geniuses on this site, this game will have speed tricks and sequence breaks.

What if you wall jump around the item you're supposed to get and go off the screen?

See what they've done to us? As soon as a Metroid game is released, we all start drooling over SBs and SWs.

I just got the game a few hours ago and  so far its sweet. I'm not totally thrilled about the price ($37.00 including tax),  but I felt like spending some money and am happy with the purchase.

It does seem like its going to be addicting....very addicting.

I cant wait til the metroid pinball site get the submiting scores part  finished. I think they are going to have something similar to the Metroid ZM special time unlock mode because when you finish a board, it only gives you your score normally, no password or anything like that.

ZOMG DOUBLE POSTING!

Sorry, had to. :P So how many people have it already? Everyone but me yet? One of these days I may get a DS. I don't know if I should get pinball with it or hold off until I play an older game until I get sick of it?

I got pinball the other day and it's addicting as all hell.  I like it alot.
I played the demo this morning, and I am officially hooked.  I will get this with my red Ds whe that comes out.

Amazing that there's a metroid game where one of the objects is to keep playing as long as possible...

lol no way
Holy crap, this game is pretty impressive. The amount of metroid-related stuff is pretty much overwhelming, and the graphics too are... fun to watch, really. I honestly thought it was a 3d thing, but... now I can tell it's 2d sprites, with very clever programming and beautifully done animations. The rumble pak is loud-ish, but it doesn't bother me too much. I deal with it, since it was free. Definitely worth my money in the end though, and I'm not even a pinball fanatic. Just so fun to play, haha. Also:
The boss battles are super rad, and I really liked the inclusion of that... er, spiky ball thing you get when you battle Metroid Prime, that was really neat.

It's a pinball game.  You don't really "beat" it.  You just go for higher and higher scores.

Heh... tommorow. That was rich.

Anyway, is the high score list supposed to come with a bunch of LAB scores that aren't even, or did I get a used copy somehow by mistake? Not that they're very intimidating scores, but... why'd they forgot the clear score option?

Very Metroidy, anyway, and also not a sucky pinball table. I'm gonna have fun with this.
