Since the Omega Pirate on Hard was the toughest battle I'd played in a while and he really pissed me off, I'll have to say him.

Not only is he built up on Phazon, which is inherently cool, he's also got a whole fucking keg of whoopass to open up on us.

Hive Mecha could take them all in ONE ROUND!!! Oh yes it could, oh yes it could. Don't look at me like that. I'm gonna have to say that Incenerator Drone is a pretty viable fella too. With his stationary-ness, and obvious weak point.

Hive Mecha all the way though. And anyone who argues, gets pelted with War Wasps until they fall off into the toxins.

You didn't include Flaaghra and Omega Pirate but included the Hive Mecha and the Sheegoth (which is a common enemy)?

Bizarre.

I voted Metroid Prime, since he was definately the best designed when it came to originality, something quite a few of the bosses in MP lacked....

i voted thardus because i like him. he wasn't very hard for me, but i thought he was cool, and i felt sorry for him. he screams so pitifully.

OP was the most difficult for me, especially on hard. i had to hide in the hole in the wall and take potshots at him the first time thru hard mode. it took foreverrr.

You included some bosses in this here mini-boss poll. To clarify: a mini-boss is an enemy that guards an importiant item, but has no health bar. A boss always has a health bar.

Metroid prime is the coolest. Without Metroid Prime, there would be no Phazon. Without Phazon There would be no Omega Pirate. You cant exclude the most important boss!

Wrong, Prime has nothing to do with the Phazon, it just became mutated by the Phazon.

Phazon itsself is a radiative Material, that the Meteroit (?? The huge Stone from Space which hit Tallon IV, don´t know bout the writing, and since i don´t have a dictionary here, you gotta live with that :)) "brought" on Tallon IV

Unless I'm having a total mental lapse, I believe there are 5 bosses: Flaahgra, Thardus, Omega Pirate, Meta Ridley, and Metroid Prime. So Omega is my fave out of those.

As for the minibosses: Plated Beetle, Hive Mecha, Incinerator Drone, Sheegoth, Cloaked Security Drone, Elite Pirates, Chozo Ghosts (maybe more)...: I'd say the Elite Pirates were the most interesting, though I find all of them to be fun to, uh... pwn.

Actually, I believe, IIRC, that although yes, intially the Phazon had nothing to do with Prime, it says or implies that eventually Prime started making Phazon, and I guess they may even have been so connected so that all Samus had to do was kill Prime to save the planet.

Prime generates Phazon pools. What more proof do you need?

Phazon didn't originate from Prime, but Prime does have the capacity to create more.
