So I put my pinball cart in the other day and turned on my DS.  For some reason the top screen only displayed half of the DS logo before it locked up.  I shut it off and turned it on again and the same thing happened.  This time I took out the game and put it back it blowing the contacts off first (old NES habit I guess Rolling Eyes ).  After that the game finally turned on but all my high scores erased!  It was like I had never played the game before.  I don't know what caused this but I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem or heard of anything like this happening.

I have reset some of my scores but I haven't had time to fully redo everything yet.  Very aggravating.

hmm thats werid i thought that only happends when you use AR on fusion too much.
hmm, did you press the combination at startup by accident? A, B, X, Y, L And R? because its very weird that you lost your gamesave data, nds games use an eeprom rather then sram to store the savedata. and eeproms shouldnt loose any data due to the fact they dont require a battery.

I've had the half-screen thing happen before. It's probably one of the cartridges not being in properly. I don't know how to explain the erasure of the high scores, though.

I didn't hold any of the buttons down on purpose and I can't imagine holding them all down by mistake.  I guess losing my data was just bad luck.  Its good to know that I'm not the only one the half screen thing happened to though.
