I really hate to make a thread on it, but I can't seem to find a list anywhere else on the net. Could someone kindly make a list of all the runs possible in this game? Such as the NBMB and Suitless run.

I plan on recording in roughly 15 days when I get a snes usb controller to play it on an emulator, and I wanted to try and make every possible run there was just to say I have done it. :D Thanks in advanced!

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
I'll try and cover as many as I can:

Any %
100 %
Low % (14%) with Ice Beam
Low % (14%) with Speed Booster - This run is all but impossible without tool assistance, as the luck involved in getting enough Power Bomb drops from the Metroids is ridiculous.
No Boss / Mini Boss (NBMB)
Reverse Boss Order (RBO)
Without Gravity Suit
Without Gravity and Varia (Suitless)
Zero Damage *Yawn*

I guess you could also include a 'glitchless' run, where no sequence breaks of any kind are allowed, thus following the 'intended' order.  There're probably others... Think

It depends on the runner.  Scripted events such as the Metroid and Mother Brain are usually excepted for the purpose of the run.

I can see my self attempting all of the above except for the no damage run. O.O You've got me messed up in so many ways if you possibly think I'll even attempt it.

There're some on YouTube if you fancy watching one.

I think I will just have to do that. :D

Is the player taking it at a slow pace to avoid damage or are there some skilled runners doing it, where speed isn't a problem.

I didn't watch them.  I just did a quick search on there to see.  I saw at least two different runs.  One's description mentioned about restarting a lot, so it'd probably be the better of the two, as quality obviously mattered to the runner.

Hmmm can't seem to find their runs. It's not really that big of a deal though a no damage run could quite possibly prove to be boring. Except for the fact that they never get hit, which isn't as exciting as a suitless run!

Well, wasn't there a no damage run of Prime done here a few years back? (Was it even finished?) I have no doubt that a no damage run is theoretically possible, but having someone sit down and go through all of it is another story.  I know I'd never be able to do it.

The two that I found with a very quick search were GistAssassin's and Desbreko's.

Desbreko's looks more fragmented, with individual parts done with no damage, whereas GistAssassin's looks like an actual run.

I think a no damage run would be good to watch !. technically you can make it so you only get the scripted damage from mother brain as we can now skip the giant metroid.

Also the low% speed booster run - for a speed run it wouldn't work on console but to actually do one is fine as you just have to keep going back to your ship to restock your power bombs to defeat the metroids. As far as I know that's all you would have to do.

That's correct, which is fine for completion, but not really for a 'run'. aiwebs_004

unless guidlines were changed for that specific run to alow the back track several times to your ship. It would of course make the run frustrating to watch and not to mention the overal completion time rather shitty but what can you do...
