Quote from Cpadolf:

First is the amount of missiles, to get that many (Though I'm not sure how much of a detour all of them combined are) seems unnecessary, Ridley is the only boss where they really would gain any time it seems and it is not that much (1 pack should save ~1.5 seconds AFAIK), health did not really seem to be a problem here either so I thought cutting down some on the missiles might save time in the end.

You're right, cutting a bit on Missiles might indeed be slightly faster in the end. 1 Pack should only save around a sec at Ridley. The reason I picked them up was just to be on the safer side and not risk to run out of health before Ridley is killed. After all my Ridley beta-test was pretty close. I just didn't thought the fight could be so much improved as seen in the final teaser (mainly due to the PB-Wave combos). If I would do the same route again, I would skip the green Brinstar Tube Missile, and probably the double behind the Reserve Tank. All other Missile packs I collected shouldn't cause much more than a sec delay each, and thus should be worth the take.

Quote from Cpadolf:
Second is the PB's, (again I'm not fully certain of where you get them all) I understand that you need 4 packs for LN but watching your teasers it seems that you should have been able to make it down to the kagoball room with no more then 3 packs then taking the 4th there since it is close to no detour at all and again it seems as your health would have been sufficient to get down to Ridley even with that small detour.

That's a good idea too. Again, this LN PB would cause a ~5 sec delay to get, and I was not sure if the health would suffice until Ridley if taking it. Besides, the only true detour PB I got was the one in the big hopper room in Red Brinstar, and even that room shouldn't be much more of a delay than getting the LN PBs. Keep in mind that you have to remove the bomb block before being able to enter the hidden room there, and getting Blue Suit to kill the last hopper that is blocking your way to it.

Nice to see that my thoughts was not totally wrong then Very Happy

I just thought it was weird that the item% will be considerably lower in my SM:I TAS. (and likely Tonski and krioles to)

Quick question. Does it matter if you kill crocomire to collect the grapple beam after Ridley? I want to try and RBO but I hope I can skip Mt. Doom.

Since a RBO only concern about big bosses it does not matter. Thus you should take crocmire out before ridley so you can get his E-Tank.
