However, those were like...5 months ago. I'm sure if I were to pick it up right now, I'd have issues with Arachnus :P

I've had some odd times with fusion.

Most recent was 1:15ish at 70ish%
got 100% at 2:05 with that file, was lazy. (suxxors)

I mainly get about 80ish% at 1:30 with fusion, considering I play through it in school, and can't fully direct my attention to it, thats not too bad.

I just went through Metroid Fusion for the first time (I just beat it like 10 minutes ago)

2:30  31%

It sucks, I know, but it was fun, and plus the 7% run by Nate helped me with boss stategy...

Without that 7% video, I could not have defeated the spider. You destroyed that thing...and it's sad because I had 3x as many energy tanks as you, full, and I died...

Yeah, it should be.

Of course, your skills in both Prime and Fusion outweight me tenfold...I tried to do the dash jump to get the early SJ, and I failed.......anyway, Ridley was way too easy. The battle with him puts all other battles to shame. Only the final boss was easier.

But wasn't it fun? I mean, I LOVED pumping missles into him like a crazed maniac.

Sure, it was fun, but WAY too easy. I am always a little scared before i face Ridley, but this one was like, okay... that was it? I love a good challenge, at THAT was no challenge. Seriously, i think i beat Ridley in less than five minutes, which is really fast for me.

I also find that the wave beam worked alot better on Ridley than the missiles.

Hmm... Yeah, that would be hard.

I'll take your word for it, though. Low % runs really aren't my thing, i just play the game over and over until i get 100%.

I remember one of the FAQs did the calculations; the wave beam was slightly stronger per unit of time, but if you miss once you lose major ground to a missler.

That's the thing, you're going to miss at least once, probably. And the time difference is so minute it's not worth going for it. Of course, Sess will have to pull that...

1:23 with 41%. I screwed up the Nightmare and my run-ins with the SA-X, plus I got a lot of useless missile expansions that I could have easily skipped.

Those are 30 short VMVs of me doing this 1:23 run. I used VisualBoy Advance 1.7 beta3, if anyone is interested.
