I didn't like PSO.. when it was first announced I expected it to be connected in some way to the other phantasy star series games but it wasn't in any way related.

XD  You expected Sega to do something right.  Don't worry I did too.  I got a letter in the mail from Sega a week after buying Episode 1 and 2 saying "Suckaaaaaaa."

Sarah, I've had just about enough of you raggin' on PSO.  It is a scientific fact that PSO is the greatest game ever concieved by man.  You'd think that was an opinion, but no they actually did experiments in labs that proved that PSO is the most superior game atomically, chemically, physically, biologically, numerically, and even sexually.  To ignore this would be most unwise.

Well here, have some more.

I rag on PSO because I love it.  Why else would I have spent 3 years of my life playing it across 3 different platforms playing easily over 700 hours?  I like it but I won't turn a blind eye to its shortcomings either.  They've dropped the ball with that game several times with the signature Sonic Team "tight coding," and now they just stuff rehashes and meaningless online quests down everyone's throat trying to evolve their attempt at a "story."

PSO is good for what it is, a senseless beat em up with mild RPG elements, and it's a great way to meet a lot of cool people online as I have.  But the current PSO has run its course and depserately needs an overhaul and an actual sequel.

I think with the cash I've dumped into that series over the past few years, I'm allowed to dig at it every once in a while.  I can laugh at the things I like because I don't take everything so life and death seriously.  \o_o/

Well obviously my post was merely satire; not meant to be taken seriously.  You of course have the option to say anything you want about whatever you want.  I would like to say, however, that my PSO experience has been quite different.  I have played several hundred hours on one accout, only it has all been done offline.  Not only that, but I have not even done challenge mode.  What I'm saying is, I've haven't gotten tired of doing the same thing over and over - even after hundreds of hours.  That is how much I love this game.

PSO.. well, it's not like I didn't buy the game twice, once for DC and once for GCN.. however, I only played it a little bit.  Not to mention all the dreamcast VMU's I bought. Other people in the house like it, and have played it leveling up to ridiculus levels.. My character however is weak, I barely put that much time in it. But it's often being played in the background around here. But, not by me. I happen to prefer games like Metroid that have replay value -_^ I don't know how other people manage not to get incredibly bored just pushing the shoot button over and over and over.
