Hellos, I have found a way to do a new method to do a way of breaking any current speed run by an untold amount of time. I would like to post this video of the glitch, however it is in a format of zmv and just needs to be converted, If anyone knows a method of converting these files I would be very thankful.

It's basically another method of using the "Space-Time Beam" however instead of reseting features of the game it fasts forwards them allowing you to instantly skip everything left in the game to the last self destruct sequence after receiving the Plasma Beam, It can be used anywhere that you have to travel through while this sequence is taking place.

It sounds like you used the space time beam on the landing site.  There are two things you should know:

1.  The space-time beam is not acceptable in speed runs, as it causes glitches the SNES was not meant to handle. 

2.  The space-time beam has many different properties, and the glitches that can be performed differ from emulator to emulator.  This specific glitch, i believe, is exclusive to ZSNES.

Edit:  Actually, since the murder beam is used in speed runs (and is a form of this glitch) i guess it might be acceptable, however i'm not sure.  Either way, this glitch doesn't work on console.
