Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
It'll be a case of finding them online.  No specific place.  For example, this one skips the intro (raw paste).  Of course, TASvideos would be the best place to ask after them.

He's just uploaded this. Which compares the time between normal draygon killing, to killing him with blue suit and returning at the top left of the large mocktroid room.

Even though blue suit won by about a second, I feel it isn't a fair test. Particularly his blue suit usage. He pressed down to get him flashing after going into the door. Should have been done before the door. And then he slowly climbs the wall and lands on the right next to the pink door, then jumps and activates it. He should have run in space jumping (using the water for a fast space jumping) and activated shinespark on the left, in the air. Then it would have been a better display of the blue suits lead it has over the normal method

It didn't seem like a fair test to me either, as he was space jumping way too slowly.

why did he have space jump if he didn't enter the space jump room to get it?

He used the GT Code.  You'll notice that he also uses X-ray to kill Draygon, but the icon is not displayed at the top of the screen.

He just uploaded this. It seems it could be a slightly easier way of getting across the lake compared to double bomb jumping. Obviously the only slightly difficult part would be the wall jump but after that it's just one easily timed bomb and to let it do it's business. I for one can't CWJ for the life of me and I got lucky in my low% run double bomb jumping getting across on first try. I usually fuck it up so much. So I think this is something to consider.... Although I haven't even tried it yet lol.

[edit] the shitty bomb trajectory on PAL makes the single bomb throw not reach the platform. However I can confirm the setup is easy and the wall jump is very easy. So this should/could be a cool and very consistent way to get across for NTSC low% runs.

This youtube channel is a good find! I love seeing different approaches and strategies for speed runs, and this method of missile lake is awesome. Never again will I have to endure the pain of a diagonal bomb jump. NEVER AGAIN

That's good to hear Wink.

Have you tried it yet ? Is it consistent for NTSC ?

I worked at it for 3 hours on console last night and managed the jump 11 times throughout. The wall jump and bomb placement have to be near perfect, but that just takes practice.

I just did a 15 minute practice of it on emulator and got it 6 times. It's actually no where near as consistent as I thought it would be. Maybe only a fraction better than standard double bomb jumping. Which is a shame but then maybe the emulator was cramping my playing a little bit ? who knows. The water is very troublesome as I'm sure you found out, in that it easily catches you. Then there's the matter of getting the bomb boost trajectory to send you over to the platform which it 90% of the time doesn't seem to want to do Sad.

What always makes this room worse is the water.  In any other room, you could fail this trick five or six times, and only lose seconds, but with this room, a fail, and the subsequent trawl back up, takes so long that it's a run killer.

Yea, getting out of that lake every time is a slow motion walk of shame. There has to be a way to get good consistency out of this. I've managed to avoid letting the water catch me most of the time, but getting the bomb just right as well as samus' placement is still frustrating.

Well, like everything else, it (unfortunately) comes down to practice, practice, practice.  I can normally get the bomb-jump within two or three goes, and can usually arc back to the platform if I fail.  The other problem with that room is that it's one of the longest of those jumps you can actually do.  You only just scrape onto the platform by unmorphing in mid-air. Sad
