rekameohs -- wow that's interesting. atm i don't see why it wouldn't work so it seems like we really need to start hacking away at those elevator rooms and twin fires.

oh, we also need to keep in mind that there's another wave door in mines (between elite control access and elite control). or do we already have a way around that ?

ok found a problem with that ... you need wave to get out of magmoor once you've gotten plasma. there's no known sws to get around that, so we'd have to find one there too. also since we'd have to do that, why not get plasma right away (first trip to magmoor, assuming we find a sw in the elevator there), then head to mines for pbs, etc?

You can't just get plasma, and go back to the magmoor/mines elevator? Or is there a wave door I'm forgetting?

I get you now Ark. I had the rooms mixed up. Still, is that door warp-way, a viable alternative of entering a SW. I just don't know much about that method.

ok so i might be wrong but as of now i believe we'd need to find 2 secret worlds in magmoor in order to solve 20%:

1. transport to tallon overworld west OR twin fires
2. north core tunnel OR geo core OR plasma processing OR south core tunnel

assuming we can get through tft without losing a whole tank (should be doable). if we find a sw in south core tunnel, we wouldn't need the workstation sw. if not, we'd need the workstation sw to leave magmoor after getting pbs.

man this would be one hell of a route though. go three trips to mines (pb, op + newborn, warrior).

I have one video of it being done in Crashed Frigate. I think it's limited because it has to be a "hollow door". In n layman's terms: You position yourself on top of the door and spin while in mb form, somewhat like getting IS. Then poof vou're in. I'll try to dig up that video to show you what i mean.

sparky just told me that there's a sw in geo core that you can easily access after getting plasma (since you never raised the roof). so to solve 20% we'd only need 1 new secret world:

1. transport to tallon overworld west OR twin fires

assuming we can get through tft without losing a whole tank (should be doable). then we'd need the workstation sw to leave magmoor after mines but that seems like it should be doable too.

Correct. It's a way of getting in a SW. It's prolly something master zed came up with though i'm guessing. It's not IS to clarify.

well, there's another obstacle then. getting x-ray in 20%.

Coming to tallon from the mines, you need to get to the top of gth, and those bars are still there. And afaik nobody's bomb jumped past them the other way yet.

and coming from magmoor... wallcrawling past tft.

this is all assuming i know what i'm talking about, of course.

the bars aren't in the way of the path to x-ray afaik. once you're in gth you're fine. also you can just use the spinner without boost iirc.

i don't think this will be any harder than wallcrawling past it in the first place. it seems at least likely that it's possible.

Won't work, the tunnel between Elite Control and Phazon Processing Center is blocked with bendezium.

Maybe we should try looking for a SW in the Phazon Mines elevator room coming from Tallon Overworld? That'd let us bypass all the wave doors and get PBs and come out of the mines by Magmoor Workstation.

Doesn't ppc have a sw? Or maybe I'm just remembering wrong but we could use that to bypass the bendezium there.
