always move fast
heh, thanks everyone.  no plans for 1:00 because it'd really just be the same thing as this.  don't really have any intention atm to do another run ever, but i guess that only lasted for so long last time.

Ludicrously fast. And so many segments with a number of difficult tricks that had bent past runners to splitting them up.

I think what impressed me the most is the IBBF segment. I've never seen that long of a wallcrawl performed so quickly.

Amazing stuff, still downloading a few segments but I'm in total awe over everything I've seen so far. Saying great job would be an understatement, the speed and fluidity of everything is insane, not even including the fact that some of the crazy stunts you pulled off with ease would make some people cry.

Fantastic!

The run was beautiful and a lot of fun to watch. Well done. A wishful goal of mine would be to play half as good as you.

in Furnace? Make sure you press against the wall to the left of the door (if you're looking at the door), that way you touch the loading zone and start loading the next room.

I haven’t been on this forum for quite some time and I just popped in to see if Prime had any new runs.  Just watched the entire 1:01 run.  Wow, a totally new route, a lot of new tricks, very impressive.

Sad to see that all the other speed run types appear to be gone.  Single Segments, 100%, low%, etc.  Those were some great runs… sad face.

Oh well, its still great to see that Metroid Prime still has something under her speed running hood.

Just your average speed-runner
What're you talking about? I'm working on a 100% run myself! (well and a PC version run but that may not be accepted.)

I only just watched this and I had to come find this thread and post about it. This is fantastic. I hadn't played Prime or watched any runs for at least 4 years, but I can remember all the tricks and the old standard route for any% so it was great to see a fresh new route. However, I was even more impressed with the new ways you found of going through certain rooms. For example, in the one in Phendrana where you get Boost, the way you used the creature to dash between platforms (while retaining the lock-on) and then doing a normal dash to get to the alcove containing Boost. It's only a little thing, but I remember obsessing over every room in preparation for my 100% searching for the fastest methods, and thinking I'd found them all!
What with all these and the possibility for a better route, I wonder how much my 100% could be improved now. Anyway, congratulations.
Oh jesus you're just cruel in part 11 - Lower Phazon AND OP in the same segment? shitting hell
