Also known as "the crazy Phantoon-first route test run" (The route is the crazy part, not the run). As promised, I will be recording the run in smvs for everyone to see, and to get feedback/suggestions from those who know the intricacies of the game better than I.
Ceres is done already; the rest of the planned segments are the same as the "standard" route:
Ship --> Red Brinstar
Red Brinstar --> Pre Botwoon
Pre Botwoon --> Pre Ridley
Pre Ridley --> Finish
The differences are that I will go directly to the WS after first entering Red Brinstar, and delay Kraid and Ice Beam until after Maridia.
Also, it's already obvious because of my crappy playing, but I might as well make it clear: The smvs I post in this topic are completely unassisted.
