Post preview:Maybe if you modified the code that actually writes to the screen you could do it all at once? As a "bonus" it would end up making Samus move left when you hold right and vice versa.
Also planning to make better physics (but not like the VERY fast fall of Redesign cause I hate it) especially wall jump physics and infinity space jump.
Just so long as you don't change the physics "just because you can".
Post preview:An SPC is a dump from the RAM associated with the SNES's sound chip, the SPC700. SPC players are actually emulators - as in they emulate the SPC700 chip. This is why SPC files are always 64k.
Oh yeh, the hack is now called Super Metroid Impulsion. I dont think thats even a word, and I dont know why I changed it, except that it sounds better.
It is a word, although it suggests that you use a lot of treadmills.
When it prompts me for the program to open .smc files, I select ZSNES, but it doesn't show up on the programs you can use to open the file.
I can think of two solutions:
1) At the prompt you describe, choose "browse" then navigate to and select zsnes.exe. Make sure that "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is checked.
2) Re-install ZSNES (this should automatically associate .smc files with zsnes.exe).
I was wondering, is there any way whatsoever to get SMILE to work on Linux?? If not, is there a similar program I could try?? In answering, please assume I'm a noob at hacking and programming, Thank you.
